Rolande launches new German bio-LNG fueling station

Dutch firm Rolande has further expanded its network in Germany by opening another bio-LNG fueling station for trucks.

Located in Gildehaus, near Bad Bentheim, close to the Dutch border, Rolande’s new station provides transport operators with an additional refueling location along a key international transport corridor, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

It is also located directly off the A30 motorway.

The A30 motorway connects the Netherlands with Germany and onwards towards Berlin and Warsaw, making it an important route for international road transport, the company said.

Rlande noted that bio-LNG is a renewable fuel produced from organic waste and residual materials.

It enables transport operators to reduce their CO₂ emissions by up to 100 percent compared with conventional diesel, calculated across the entire fuel lifecycle, the company said.

At the same time, bio-LNG offers lower fuel costs per kilometer than diesel, making it an “attractive option” for transport companies looking to reduce both their operating costs and CO₂ emissions, the company said.

With the opening of Gildehaus, Roalnde now operates 11 stations in Germany, further strengthening its network and connecting key transport corridors across the Netherlands and Germany.

According to Rolande’s website, the company has 13 LNG fueling stations in the Netherlands and five in Belgium. (October 13, 2026, Source: https://lngprime.com/europe/rolande-launches-new-german-bio-lng-fueling-station/198359/)
